Reiki Workshops and Classes

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy balancing system and is based on the channeling of a form of energy, or a subtle energy. This energy can be referred to as ‘chi’, which you may have heard of. When you visit an acupuncturist they use needles to encourage energy to flow through a series of meridians or energy channels that run the length of your body; that energy is called ‘chi’.

You may have heard of a Japanese massage technique called Shiatsu, which uses finger pressure on acupuncture points to achieve a similar effect; the Japanese adopted the Chinese view of the body's energy system. You will probably have heard of Tai Chi (or maybe Chi Kung/Qigong), a graceful system of exercises that are designed to build up, or cultivate, your personal reserves of this energy, and the graceful movements that you make serve to circulate this energy smoothly throughout your body, breaking down any blockages and bringing things into balance on all levels. The energy is seen as animating all living things.

When we move from China to India, the same energy is referred to as ‘Prana’, and breathing exercises and yoga techniques have been developed to again bring your energy system into balance. In India they do not think in terms of meridians, but of chakras: energy centers running the length of your body from the crown of your head to the base of your spine, seven main ones and further subsidiary ones in other locations.

The intention with all these energy techniques is that if you can harmonize your energy system, you are putting your body in the best possible position to heal itself on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. In fact, the Chinese view is that chi not only flows through your body, but surrounds and engulfs you, too.

For example, Feng Shui has been developed as a way of arranging your living environment to allow for the smooth flow of chi around you, eliminating areas where stagnant chi might accumulate. Reiki deals with this same energy, to an extent.

Enchanted Earth Celtic Reiki is a version of Usui Reiki, which uses vibrations of the Earth and specific plants to create a healing and manifestation contusive environment. The Reiki energy mimics the frequency of various trees and plants to work in accordance with channeled and Celtic wisdom. An Earth energy Reiki, Celtic Reiki is channeled up, through the base chakra, rather than down through the crown, as with the Usui technique. This makes it akin to Kundalini Reiki, although Celtic Reiki does not act on the Kundalini, instead, showing results similar to Traditional Reiki, influenced greatly by the energy techniques of the Celts.

The entire Celtic Reiki system is not yet known to us; however, by using what we know, we will evolve energetically enough to proceed with the more powerful vibrations.

In this course, the energies will be passed on via 3 attunements – the first to introduce the energies and prepare the student for the other energies. The second works with manifestation energies and the third with healing and master energies. As well as symbols and descriptions, each section will cover aspects of Reiki, Celtic wisdom and instructions for use.

You can see her face almost anywhere in the world where the Chinese live. The Goddess of Mercy (The Goddess of Compassion) is the most popular and widespread of any deity of Chinese Buddhism. Yet she is only now becoming known in the West. Also known as Quan Yin, Quan'Am (Vietnam), Kannon (Japan), and Kanin (Bali), or Kwan Yin. She is the embodiment of compassionate loving kindness. As the Bodhisattva of Compassion, She hears the cries of all beings. Quan Yin enjoys a strong resonance with the Christian Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and the Tibetan goddess Tara. Her influence extends from the very dawn of creation to the heartfelt wishes of woman desiring children. In times of sickness and trouble, she is the first to be invoked. She is child-bearer, creator, living compassion, friend and intercessor. She is the great goddess of life herself.(a) Quan Yin means "one who hears the cries of the world." Her five major virtues are mercy, modesty, courage, justice, and wisdom.

Quan Yin, as she is known by many Buddhists, is the bodhisattva who refused to ascend as a master, until all of humanity was allowed to leave the wheel of reincarnation, and their tears were healed. She is the compassionate one. Her color is lavender, or a soft shade of St. Germaine’s Violet Flame. It is a golden violet – the color of healing and protection.

Gayatri Seichim

A new creative power has emerged as a specific practice that integrates two things, namely, the daily recitation of the ancient Gayatri Mantra (which is thousands of years old) and the modern-day healing practice known as Seichim. This new system of healing, called Gayatri Seichim, is built of the powers that have formed the universe and that trace out the Creation Process that creates all things in all places and in all times. It is through the invocation of these powerful tools of creation that a new solution is now available that has the power to heal the souls of millions of people and soothe the troubles of the world.

Gayatri Seichim gives you the tools needed to expand your powers through the addition of a development system that utilizes ancient Sound (mantra) and Light (yantra) technology. As you increase your healing power, you will also learn how to manifest any desire, since healing is nothing more than a portion of the spectrum of creation. Fairy Realms Reiki is a form of Reiki that is geared towards healing of the natural environment, healing with help from the natural environment, and to connect with nature spirits and fairies. It is highly recommended that some form of instruction in traditional Reiki be taken or studied to have a better understanding of Reiki and its principles. I know, though, that there are plenty of intuitive people out there that will take this knowledge and make it their own with their own style without ever studying formalized Reiki.

Fairy Realms Reiki is geared towards the natural environment. It is focused on helping growth of plants and animals, cleansing the earth of toxins, grounding, and facilitating contact between the human and fairy realms. It is a perfect form to use in helping gardens, flowers and forests grow, aiding in the healing of animals, and opening the psychic centers to communicate with fairies and other nature spirits.
